There has been some vandalizing in Bentonville with paintballs and the news channel came by the shop today to get some shots of some of the equipment. I told them it was OK as long as they say that WE (the local paintball businesses) do not condone the use of paintball or paintball playing equipment in any way other than thru a positive sport!!! I think it is going to take US (the paintball playing community in NWA) to take a stand against people screwing up what we have worked so hard to portray in a positive light!! so lets all watch this news segment tonight! and if we are not happy with the way it comes off. we need to let them KNOW it!!!
i am waiting to hear what everyone thinks!!

Here is all i have been able to find so far..... Shooting Spree Reported by: Whitney Ray Wednesday, Sep 5, 2007 @05:00pm CST Danelle Knight spent Labor Day talking to police and cleaning paint off of her house, car and garage. She was just on of several homeowners hit in a paintball shooting spree. Monday, Bella Vista police received six reports of paintball shootings. All the attacks were on houses, except one paintball that hit a four year-old. Police believe two men in their teens or early 20's were driving around Bella Vista neighborhoods and randomly shooting at houses. Witnesses reported seeing the shooters driving a silver four door car. If you have any information about this case you can contact the Bella vista police at (479) 855-3771. keep checking this link for more details nwahomepage.com/content/fulltext/?cid=7800 (if they come up with anything!) if you know who is doing this!! turn them in!!! we dont need to give our sport a bad name!!! i know most people that visit this and other sites are more for our sport keeping a bad name and it was probably a customer of good ol WalMart or other large chain stores that sell paintball equipment!! but lets all do what we can to put a stop to this type of stuff

basically they interviewed some lady who said exactly what's in the article you posted. somebody shot her house, she called the cops about it who then had 6 other calls about it monday night. they just said to call their hotline if anybody knows anything about it.
they showed the shop at the end with some pictures of some evil paint, and the spyder's on the wall and said "the owners of B&E paintball in fayetteville said that they do not condone the use of paintball equipment outside of the sport."
the whole thing lasted maybe 60 seconds.

I didn't see the news clip itself, but incidents like this from people who do not respect the sport of paintball just fuel the negative stereotypes and give the sport a bad image. I hope whomever is responsible for this is caught and brought to justice!
