Since I started this site in 2004 or 5 don't remember, I've never had anyone ask for more features except the occasional private forum. When I added Youtube tags I got accused of "stealing" code from another site. Give us your opinion and we will most likely do it.

It's a good forum, but it could use some new users. Theirs only like 10 posts per day on here, and that's on a good day. Getting a URL would also help, but I understand that they can be expensive. For a low traffic site, though, it shouldn't cost too much.

Cost isn't much of an issue. I'd be willing to fork out domain costs and stuff if we would get occasional donations. I'm busy building a new site for the u of a pb team. I'm planning on looking into something for this site when I'm done with U of A.

If you set up a Paypal account or something similar, I'm sure many people would be glad to donate, if it helped make this site better. If you got a URL, you could just tell people you meet at the field to "Go to www.nwapaintball.com" or something, instead of "Go to nwapaintbal.proboards27.com". Stickers would be cool as well.

I think the main problem is the lack of active users...though some additional features would be cool.

new features are nice and all, but it's content that makes the board. For example: www.network54.com/Forum/9013/old school style forum, nothing fancy. But the traffic is there and it stays busy. I believe, if we as a group, promote the forum, promote the scene, promote the stores, promote the fields, features ain't necesarry. Get a Paypal up worthy. Ed, you get stickers, I'll buy a few.

What used to make this forum great was the local scene that use to exist, and all the crazy people who came here to talk about it. I remember when everyone who played in the nwa felt the desire to chit chat/argue on these boards... I miss the weekly rants/bans of suge.... Steve sharing his sagely wisdom, and hecksy popping in to tell us how crazy we all were. Perhaps we should try and do a little more to bring back the "social" nwa community of ballers? It seems like the community has faded some since the last time I picked up a gun. idk. Maybe a local ballers day when all of the teams in the area show up for some good ol' fashioned day long scrim? Then maybe grill/go out to eat and chill afterwards? Beats me. I don't think that fancy new bells and whistles really will do much to draw attention to the forums, but if we started acting like this was a forum full of friends again...perhaps maybe it will rise again. Wasn't that why worth created this forum in the first place, so that WE could all chill and chat as an extended family? Side note, who do I need to pm to reactivate my old account? Thanks for listening to my ramblings, Shaun

^^^ Ditto. This used to be a very active / interesting site. Seems like things have really died off lately....or at least since the whole crash incident and a few individuals stirring up dissention and division. I miss the ole days of banter and community. We need that back (and I use the word "we" because it will only happen through all of our support). I think the scrimmage / grillin' idea would be a great start toward building that up again. (seems like I heard a rumor about something like that in the works *cough*Ed*cough*) Like when everyone was getting together at Foghorn's for the tourneys on ESPN. Ed, count me in on the stickers! If I can do anything to help building the community back up, let me know. I'm in! On another note.......sagely wisdom from Steve? Are we talking about the same Steve? I hope that was sarcasm!
